Vegan, Dairy Free & Egg Free
The perfect mix of chewy, crunchy and Zesty Chocolate orange flavour cookies. Super quick and easy to make. Enough for some now and more later. I usually freeze half of this mixture for another day. Just roll into balls and freeze, then you can bake pop them directly into the oven from freezer.

Tips for these cookies –
Vegan Chocolate – The great thing about Vegan chocolate is that it usually has a higher cacao content, which makes it much more stable and versatile to work with. For these cookies I used Galaxy Vegan Orange chocolate, because it’s available in most supermarkets and not too pricey.
What you’ll need-
- 125g Butter/spread/baking block
- 100g Caster Sugar
- 100g Light Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Freshly squeezed Orange (or 30mls orange juice)
- 30ml Plant Milk (I use Oat milk, any milk will work)
- 250g Self Raising Flour
- 100g Vegan Orange Chocolate
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Method
- Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees. Line a large, flat baking tray for your cookies.
- Mix together Butter & sugar until creamy and fully combined.
- Add in Vanilla, milk and Orange juice and whisk together.
- Gradually add self-raising flour to form a dough.
- Chop up your orange chocolate into small chunks and add to you mix.
- Roll into balls and space your cookie dough balls apart with enough room to spread out.
- Bake at 180C for 10 minutes. Your cookies will start to spread and brown slightly on the edges.
- Remove from oven and leave on tray to cool.
